- Hardly. The Candu thermal breeder is about the closest thing we
- have to a passively safe system. Hell they let unsupervised
- college students run them. The reason breeders aren't widely
- used is that uranium is $10 a pound. It would have to be $100
- a pound before breeders break even on costs.
