  22. Where did you get this from?  He was not dismissed at all.  He resigned
  23. to go back to heading a research group.  Given the amount of research
  24. he has done and the grant funding he has he can pretty much go anywhere
  25. he wants.  Even if there was some back-door politics that he was 
  26. reprimanded for it would not have been something he would have been 
  27. dismissed for.  He was brought here because of his reputation to attract
  28. the Supercollider to Arizona.  He brought a lot of good professors with
  29. him who will now be leaving.  One of the woman professors that he
  30. recruited has already left.  So much for a respectable, politically correct
  31. physics department.
