  26. What is wrong with referring to mankind as "man" ?  I'm sure the intent
  27. wasn't to wish goodwill to only males.  As for semantics, Webster
  28. defines "man" as referring to mankind, and doesn't mention the
  29. male species until his 3rd definition.
