  20.     Yup, sure can.... Here in Nashville, we have a pretty 'young' scene...
  21. 7 raves so far.... We have two established promoters here: Soundshock and Anode.
  22. Soundshock, who are actually based (as far as I've heard) in Memphis, are DJ's
  23. Rick Phiffer and Graflin. They are pretty much responsible for the scene here, 
  24. so it's kinda gone to their heads.... They throw alright Raves, but they can be
  25. assholes.
  26.     Anode is our 'lower-budget' promoter. They've been working with 
  27. Soundshock on most of the raves, and only have 1 of their own under their belt
  28. (That I know of, anyway), which was the first warehouse rave in town (Sound-
  29. Shock prefers local clubs like 328 Performance Hall). They're (IMHO) the cooler
  30. of the two.
  31.     As far as DJs, lemme think. There's Rick and{Graflin, Odie (Memphis{, 
  32. Chip B, Scott Wilkerson (Knoxville), and a few others (My memory is failing me).
  33.     Where to shop? Lucy's Record Shop. . . Mary (the owner) named it after
  34. he dog.... Anyway, She carries a pretty slim selection in the store, BUT:
  35. A) Mary (being a DJ, also) knows what's cool, and makes reccomendations upon 
  36. request...
  37. and B) She'll order anything.
  38.     Which is why most of the scene is never seen at Tower....
  39. Anything else? :)
