- Just wondering is anybody from Toronto was catching this newgroup;
- the rave scene here is pretty awesome. I was at Chemistry last
- Saturday (19th), and it ended up being really good (even after having
- to line up at the beginning in an un-heated enterance area). Lots of
- attractions including a full Virtual Reality game room (two machines
- were hooked up; for $10 you could run around in a virtual world and
- try shoot the person playing on the other machine. There were
- monitors hooked up so you could watch from the 'outside' -- it looked
- really cool. I forgot to go back and play though (oh well...)).
- There were the usual chill-out rooms with moving lava-lamp walls, and
- a rubber house set up. Tire swings and a small maze-like effect
- rounded it off. The sound was pretty good (6 mid-side sets of
- speakers), as was the music (there was a smaller techno room as well
- as the main rave area). DJs were from Toronto and the UK.
- Looks like the scene is constantly getting better... there now 7
- rave-lines in the (416) area. Next weekend is going to be 'Rave
- Flakes' (from the producers of Loon-E-Toons), with a number of other
- really good ones in the next two months. Have numbers for the
- Sykosis, Pleasureline, Nitrous, Exodus, Chemistry, Chaos Connection,
- and Infinity rave-lines. If you are in TO, or plan to be, you can
- email me for them (they were one a business-card flyer I got).
