  16. That's the first line in my book, "The Society of Mind," as a
  17. quotation attributed to Einstein.

  19. The funny thing is that I have a corredpondence with the archivists of
  20. the Einstein collection (at Boston University).  They can't find the
  21. source anywhere, and I can't remember where I got it.  I'm sure I
  22. didn't make it up, but I certainly could have paraphrased it from
  23. something else.  And I did hang around at the Institute for Advanced
  24. Studies in the early '50s when I was a grad student at Princeton.
