  10. I have recently read the above named book. I found parts
  11. of it interesting. His (Terence's) opinion appears to be
  12. more reasonable than Tim Leary's, so he hasn't gained
  13. the same noteriety, but he does have some interesting theories,
  14. including that the one of the reasons that we seem to display
  15. more consciousness than the apes is that we found and used
  16. psychoactive mushrooms and possibly other psychoactive 
  17. plants. This fostered increased intellegence.
