- He is back and he is more beautiful than ever. Beauty is
- only as deep as the lie he tells when the lights are on.
-
- He turned off the light and spoke the truth: When he was
- in Tokyo, he thought that it was New York with the signs
- painted over in sweeping cross stitch. Everyone hurried
- just as much.
-
- He noticed one building. And then another. Buildings as
- long and tall as our own twin towers. What difference
- did he see? The twin towers gripped the earth and
- strained toward the sky. Posture stiff, as though they
- were about to get their knuckles rapped for slouching.
-
- The buildings in Tokyo--no matter how large--danced
- and floated, and the people hurred because they knew
- that these structures had only touched down for a visit.
