  22. am polyamorous by preference, but am currently being monogamous with my
  23. lover, because (for any number of reasons) I have promised them that I

  26. Really, is this such a reach?  I think most of the flaming that's been
  27. provoked is because buttons have been pushed regarding lying to people
  28. about one's *actions*.  If one keeps the notion of preference--what I'd
  29. have or do, ideally--separate from action--what I am doing RIGHT NOW,
  30. all would be calmer.
