  13. Alex, Bethany, and Carole, three little girls less than nine years old,
  14. would like their Dad to meet a nice lady who might, someday, if things
  15. work out right, become their mother.  Now they're not pressuring anyone,
  16. because they heard their Dad say that good relationships take time and
  17. patience to build.  Good mothers are hard to find, you know.
  18.  
  19. Alex and Bethany go to a Lutheran school.  They would like their mother
  20. to be able to sing lots songs about Jesus and maybe someday sing in a 
  21. concert with the family.  Alex likes stories and Bethany likes karate.
  22. Carole is cute and cuddley but likes to write on walls.
  23.  
  24. Dad is in graduate school in Fargo.  Someday he hopes to have a really
  25. good job so he can retire early to a farm.  He reads Mother Earth News
  26. and dreams about country life.  He also reads National Review and some-
  27. times Reader's Digest.  He likes Minnesota Public Radio and Star Trek
  28. Next Generation.  He needs someone who knows how to clean house or can
  29. afford a maid, because he can't! (Well, it's not quite that bad.)

  31. Dad's really into educational theory and wishes he could start his own
  32. school.  At least now he gets to teach college classes, and that keeps
  33. him happy enough to live with.  Even though he loves his girls a lot,
  34. he gets lonely sometimes and that makes him a little grumpy!
