  22.     Hmmm. Is it Toshiba America or the Toshiba in Japan that
  23. made the calendar? The reason I ask is that for some reason 'Anne of
  24. Green Gables' is enjoying rabid popularity in Japan since last year
  25. at least. It has gone so far that there are guides for how to spend
  26. your vacation in the setting where the book was, and there is an
  27. amusement park/garden place called 'Anne's world' or some such which
  28. is supposedly a reproduction of Anne's village (albeit surrounded by
  29. rice fields, heh heh). Crazes like this are peevesome in general.
