- Well, faster-than-light travel is certainly conceivable, but as far as we
- know, not possible. Same goes for reactionless thrusters, sub-absolute
- temperatures, and frictionless surfaces.

-
- First off, kudos to you for showing some of the true spirit of scientific
- inquiry which seems so often to be lacking from this froup.
-
- I believe the current theory to account for deja vu is that different
- sections of the brain receive sensory input at slightly different times.
- One section may store the information into your long- or short-term
- memory; then, when the other section tries to store it a millisecond
- later, it notices that the information is already stored. Hence, it
- will come to the conclusion "Aha! I have been here before." The
- information retrieved may even seem to possess a dream-like quality.
-
- There is a simple, scientific method that could invalidate this theory,
- at least in your case, or in your eyes. IT IS IMPERATIVE that you begin
- recording your dreams immediately after they happen, and in as much detail
- as possible, to provide a written record of this phenomena. If you still
- achieve significant results, post them here, including your word-for-word
- description of the dream and a description of the event that occurred that
- matched.
