  16. If I were in your shoes I probably would give the person in question a good
  17. talking to about self fufilling prophesies.
  18. Using example out of myth (like Opedius) to illustrate.

  20. Personally, I wlill give a disclaimer brefore I do a reading.
  21. I tell them the cards are more useful as a meditaive device that lets thenm 
  22. examine thier life, rather than bieng 'fortune tellers'.
  23. (then they go on to bee eeirily accurate... sigh)
  24. I also tell them beforehand not to get upset if a 'bad' card shows up.
  25. Death can mean many thindgsa... 
  26. Each card can have numerous interpitations.
  27. Death can mean death of a person, a lifestyle, an idea, an outlook.
  28. It can also mean re-brith. 
  29. When you break up with a mate, you feel like you have died. But eventually
  30. a new, wiser if sadder person is born.

  32. I also tell them that this reading is only accurate for this moment. You can leave
  33. leave and within a short time span do something that totally changes the outcome.

  36. daughter, this could be the outcome.

  39. The danger with trat cards (oops traot cards) is that people will take them too
  40. seriously. Like all those newagers who think that buying that one crystal
  41. will make them a great, spritual person, on the lever of budda...
