  19. degenerated into arguments over the
  20. arcane points of history.

  22. I don't care if Wicca is ultimately
  23. derived from a word meaning "Blind
  24. Women who Dance With Pigs"; we're 
  25. talking about changing the 
  26. connotation, NOW, in our modern culture
  27. of the word "Witch", which has, for a
  28. long time, been connected with stereo-
  29. types that practicing Witches aren't 
  30. too happy about.

  33. needs to be able to grow and evolve.
  34. If Tammy wants to believe that the
  35. word Wicca means the "Wise Ones",
  36. and yes, I too have come across the 
  37. same attribution, I don't think she's
  38. harming anyone by posessing that 
  39. belief.  She may not be 100%
  40. historically accurate, but who cares?
