- Call it the 'Solstice' and be done with it. Actually I have seen
- Solctice used more and more. I have even heard rumors of Solstice Cards
- being available here and there. This term is more accurate, anyway, of
- this season. Every ancient civilization seemed to have major festivals,
- or celebrations for the Solstice. The Xians picked up on it since
- everyone else was celebrating. Might as well join in, 'eh?
- By celebrating Solstice rather than Xmas, we are going back to our roots.
- And abandoning the Christ-centric venner laid over the Solstice season.
- And good riddance says I.
