  42. Call it the 'Solstice' and be done with it.  Actually I have seen 
  43. Solctice used more and more.  I have even heard rumors of Solstice Cards 
  44. being available here and there.  This term is more accurate, anyway, of 
  45. this season.  Every ancient civilization seemed to have major festivals, 
  46. or celebrations for the Solstice.  The Xians picked up on it since 
  47. everyone else was celebrating.  Might as well join in, 'eh?
  48. By celebrating Solstice rather than Xmas, we are going back to our roots.
  49. And abandoning the Christ-centric venner laid over the Solstice season.
  50. And good riddance says I.
