- Yet another possibility. I have a friend who told me that archaeologists
- found a pentagram in Jerusalem, dating back a few thousand years. If this
- is linked to the Jewish religion, then inverting the symbol would have the
- same meaning as anti-Judaism. A minutely relevant example would be the
- modern gang symbol system (which are, in fact, based on religious symbology)
- where inverting the symbol of a rival gang is analogous to displaying that
- of your own gang, and denouncing the other.
