- I'd like to offer a few adjustments to what Kumar posted recently.

- Kumar is one of a number of people working on puting together a FAQ. As
- he stated, what he posted was his own compilation based on articles he
- collected from this newsgroup. However, the form of his draft has not
- been reviewed by the people working on the FAQ. He submitted it to that
- group at roughly the same time as he posted it here. Therefore, we should
- see it as his offering to the readers as a suggestion of how we might
- begin on an actual FAQ. If you have comments on that draft, please send
- them to the address for the mailing list being used by the FAQ folks:

- obe-faq@gnosys.svle.ma.us
-
- If you would like to be on that mailing list, please send a note to me
- (gst@gnosys.svle.ma.us) requesting your name to be included. Please
- specify the "obe-faq" list when you write, since I maintain a number of
- other lists.

-
- Again, it would probably be best to send suggestions to the obe-faq address,
- unless you want to bring up an idea in the public forum.

-
- What I said is that I would like to think about using Informix to keep track
- of bibliographic material. Perhaps at some point, the database would be
- available to anyone by means of an emailed request, and it could be updated
- in the same fashion. I think this development may be down the road a ways,
- though.
