  32. Give us a break, Harvey.  You said, "In fact a Conservative
  33. shul went on record."  Now you're saying it was the
  34. shul president speaking for him or herself, and that it
  35. was not on record, and that you got this second-hand.

  37. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume
  38. that you weren't lying, but had merely forgotten that the
  39. source was not on record, and are sorry for having made this error.

  41. Since I'm not ready to believe that the president of a Conservative
  42. shul would make such a foolish statement, I'd also like to give him or
  43. her the benefit of the doubt and call this person to get confirmation
  44. or denial of having said that.  Please e-mail me his name and number.
