 Well, well, well. Len launched this prize to alt.messianic. I'm sure we
 could have days of commentary on it. I would just like to say that with
 this type of post, since I'm sure Len would not do to others what he
 himself would NOT WANT others to do to him, IS Inviting the readers of A.M.
 to submit posts to SCJ on all those we know who left the self-righteous
 traditions of the rabbis for the truth of Messiah Yeshua.

   Romans 8:6-9 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind
   controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is
   hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do
   so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You,
   however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the
   Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not
   have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.

   1 Tim 1:6-11 Some have wandered away from these and turned to
   meaningless talk. They want to be teachers of the law, but they
   do not know what they are talking about or what they so
   confidently affirm. We know that the law is good if one uses it
   properly. We also know that law is made not for the righteous but
   for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy
   and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for
   murderers, for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and
   liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the
   sound doctrine that conforms to the glorious gospel of the
   blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

   1 Tim 4:1-6 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will
   abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught
   by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose
   consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

   will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what
   their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away
   from the truth and turn aside to myths.

   Titus 1:9-11 He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it
   has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound
   doctrine and refute those who oppose it. For there are many
   rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those
   of the circumcision group. They must be silenced, because they
   are ruining whole households by teaching things they ought not to
   teach--and that for the sake of dishonest gain.


   1 Tim 6:3-5 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree
   to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly
   teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an
   unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that
   result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and
   constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been
   robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to
   financial gain.

   Titus 1:16-2:1 They claim to know God, but by their actions they
   deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing
   anything good. You must teach what is in accord with sound
   doctrine.

 The body of Messiah is being shaken these (last?) days. Those who truly
 belong to the Lord will stand, the others shall run for some form of
 man_made "Religion" which has a form of godliness, but lacks any power
 except that which comes from the evil one. And those who live in darkness
 will promote and celebrate the sifting of God's people. Brothers and
 sisters, pray that you and yours may stand the test, and while abiding in
 Yeshua, you may stand, in His strength. Amen!
