  16. The inverted cross is better known to Catholics as St Peter's Cross, used as
  17. a symbol of that saint who (as legend has it) begged to be crucified thus

  25. Well, I've never seen it as you describe it...the name for it as an ankh,
  26. and I've always seen it with the loop on top.  It was never associated
  27. with Satanism to my knowledge until the advent of the Temple of Set, which
  28. (I think) uses it in the "normal" fashion.

  41. The only place so far where I have come across this sort of thing was
  42. in a book called _Mastering Witchcraft_ by Paul Huson.  It is claimed
  43. to be an initial step in setting yourself free from the Judeo-Xian
  44. culture in which you were raised.  At the time, I took it seriously...
  45. but hey, I was only 9, so whaddya expect?
