- I was amazed when I went to a newly opened computer warehouse
- type store here in San Diego. I went to look in the compiler
- section, and saw every C, C+, C++, and Pascal compiler ever
- invented. There was one copy of Microsoft VB (for DOS, I
- think), way down in the back of the bottom shelf, and no
- Spectra or any other BASIC products. A chat with the salesman
- revealed the shelf was as stocked as well as it would ever get
- with BASIC compilers.
-
- Is it coming down to VB for DOS, and VB for windows and NO
- OTHER BASIC compilers on the planet?
