  17. I was amazed when I went to a newly opened computer warehouse
  18. type store here in San Diego.  I went to look in the compiler
  19. section, and saw every C, C+, C++, and Pascal compiler ever
  20. invented.  There was one copy of Microsoft VB (for DOS, I
  21. think), way down in the back of the bottom shelf, and no
  22. Spectra or any other BASIC products.  A chat with the salesman
  23. revealed the shelf was as stocked as well as it would ever get
  24. with BASIC compilers.

  26. Is it coming down to VB for DOS, and VB for windows and NO
  27. OTHER BASIC compilers on the planet?
