- The graphical event-driven model is merely an *option* in VBDOS. You
- can use it if you want or ignore it. VBDOS will still happily compile
- any "old" style basic program that PDS or Quickbasic handle now.

- There are even more (many, many, more) libraries available for the MS
- Basic products. If third party support is what you are concerned about,
- there is no contest. Microsoft Basic has more support than probably all
- other Basic products combined.
