- i have a 56 chevy that has a iron glide and i want to convert
- it to a aluminum one or a turbo 350. due to the failure of
- my iron glide and high cost of rebuilding it by someone else
- and my lack of time i think that the fastest way is the conversion.
- first are there the same mounting holes on a aluminum glide as on
- the iron ones? if not does anyone fabricate a crosspiece that
- goes in without drilling or welding to the frame (so i can put
- the iron one back in at a later date). any other advice?
- thanks
