  21. I stopped collecting long ago, but I can't beleive it's at $40.
  22. The comic was talked about everywhere, non stop for days.  Newspapers,
  23. local news casts, etc...  Everyone was instructed to get a copy,
  24. and probably has.  I can't see you even getting $10 selling one, besides
  25. the stores probably kept 20 copies for themselves.  The Superman comic
  26. is definately not scarce, but rather poorly diluted.  You'd only
  27. get the $40 value price from the die hard collector, but he already has
  28. 10 copies.  If he wanted more, he'd have gotten them.  You're lucky
  29. to get 40% of the value from a store, assuming they are interested.
  30. The comic is worthless until "mommy" throws the comic out, and with
  31. adults probably making up most of the comic idustry, that isn't gonna
  32. happen.  It's a dead end.  Hell, the local library has a copy...
