  17. Put it this way.  I may not care what others think, but if at all possible, I 
  18. don't want to confuse people (esp. if I like them) about how I feel.   So I 
  19. guess I do care what people who care about me think (whoa- there's a sentence 
  20. :-]), but I *don't* care what people hostile to me think unless the're in a 
  21. position of power.
