  18. compressed with the JPEG method as "JPEG files," which is what started
  19. all this.  Which is easier:  To eradicate HSI files and/or rename them,
  20. or to educate the populace into calling their files JFIF files instead
  21. of JPEG?  :)

  27. I believe that GIF2JPG is the only program that produces these files by
  28. default.  Alchemy can produce them as well, but only if you ask it to
  29. (--j option).
