- Which version of telnet are you using? For NCSA telnet I have the 2
- parameters at the end as:

- %%A #%%P

- i.e. the numeric address and the port number. The gopher server will
- return the numeric address for use by the telnet program.

- Also check that you've got enough spare memory before the telnet is
- attempted; the funny number on the top line of the screen in the
- amount of free memory - NCSA telnet needs about 340000 I think.
- However, if it is lack of memory you should get a pop-up box warning you.
