-
- You might have a point there. Not many people other than arcade gurus played
- SF. SF2 was the game that captured the general playing audiences. Why this
- happened is another issue. One reasons why it took such a great popularity was
- because there wasn't any game like it before. Only somewhat recently has the
- SF2 clones emerged dampening the playing market. If SF2 were released at the
- same times as these others I'm not sure how well it would fair.

- I'm yearning for SF3. :)

- Ever heard of game balance? If they're annoying to you, that's your problem.

-
- I think you're missing the whole game. Personally, I can't find much "novelty"
- in SF2. The graphics aren't that great, there aren't many "neat" sound
- effects, the music is far from catching, etc., etc. It's simply stragetic,
- playable and fun game that involves a real opponent -- another person.
-
- If you play SF2 hours a day, every day of your life, you're going to get bored.
- Everybody gets bored of anything, no matter what that thing may be. All I can
- suggest is to take a break and kick back. If you don't like SF2, don't play
- it. After all, nobody is beating on your door to waste quarters. :)
