- For anyone in the SF Bay Area, I played at Golfland in Sunnyvale. They
- had three of them set up. The Golfland in Blossom Hill has one as well.
- As arcades go, Golfland is pretty crappy, but it's the only place that I
- can find any good competition. As for the LA area, there's a great arcade
- in Hermosa Beach--the 5th Street Arcade. Games always in good condition,
- very few screaming brats. No idea if they have it, but they've always
- been good about getting new games first. Small place, but very well run.
-
- On a more nationally relevant note, the computer characters have gotten
- nastier. The computer Blanka does combos now (jumping fierce, standing
- strong, crouching roundhouse) and computer Ryu/Ken does the fierce/fierce
- DP combo regularly. Pretty scary, but a lot more interesting! It's nice
- to actually have to play on the defensive once in a while against the
- computer. And no, Ken and Ryu seemed about the same other than the
- midair HK (and the new colors).
