  11. With a bit of luck, I should be able to post the preliminary version of the FAQ
  12. at the beginning of February (work committments prevent me doing it before then,
  13. unfortunately).

  15. I *think* I've covered a lot of what could be construed as Frequently Asked
  16. Questions. Basically, the questions answered are :

  18. -    How do I join the Tolkien Society?
  19. -    What journals/newsletters/whatever deal with the discussion of Tolkien's
  20.     work?
  21. -    Where can I get Elvish fonts for <whatever>?
  22.  
  23. Also, I'm trying to piece together a coherent answer for the Bombadil question
  24. (with the aid of all the articles posted to a.f.t except the first 150 or so
  25. :-) ). Other answers deal with the Istari, the nature of orcs and trolls,
  26. Glorfindel (both of 'em :-) ) as well as the booklist.

  28. Has anyone got any more suggestions? If so, I'd be grateful if you'd send me
  29. them (complete with a shortish `answer' since I don't have much time to go
  30. hunting through the entire works of Tolkien at the moment :-) )

  32. Apologies for taking so long over this, reality has a tendency to get in the
  33. way at times (plus, even I'm entitled to a Christmas break :-) )
