  37. If you take what Sandy says here literally, Gandalf couldn't actually
  38. create life with the flame of Anor (or the secret fire), but rather he
  39. could give life and substance to any of Iluvatar's creations.  From
  40. what Michael says, I can't see how they can be the same.  Anyway, it
  41. seems to me if Gandalf really was wielding this kind of power, he could
  42. have blown the balrog right into the outter void with his old buddy
  43. Morgorth.
