  12. I don't know if movies are the appropriate medium; to render the trilogy 
  13. faithfully will require at least 2- 3 hours for each of the 6 books. I doubt 
  14. whether you'll be able to convince anyone to finance a 6- part movie, much 
  15. less direct it.

  17. Has anyone considered using the TV miniseries format, as in _The Civil War_? 
  18. Time wouldn't be such a critical issue, but getting the big- name actors 
  19. I've seen mentioned here might be.
