  21. I happen to be of the opinion that child molesting and serial rape crimes
  22. are indeed sexual deviations.  Equating homosexuality with these deviate
  23. behaviors with simple homosexuality seems to be his way of using a very
  24. liberal argument/technique...  A constant "complaint" I hear from my liberal
  25. friends is that "x" activity chips away at "y" part of liberties as defined
  26. by liberals.  I have no problem with people being homosexual - it is a fact
  27. of life that some people are of this persuasion.  The bottom line is that
  28. sexuality between two people belongs in the bedroom, not in congress or the
  29. military or our schools.  Let me qualify this by saying that strict biological
  30. sexual education (i.e. what is reproduction) CAN be taught in schools -
  31. the question here is whether it is properly taught and whether they way it
  32. is being taught actually exasberates problems like STDs, teen pregnancy,
  33. etc.  As for Dornan, he is certainly passionate about HIS beliefs and has
  34. every right to speak as passionately about them as he chooses.

  36. At this point, I would like to refer to the typical liberal reaction to
  37. Pat Buchanan...  He uses a term like "MILITANT homosexual" and complains
  38. about how this militancy should not be the driving force in achieving
  39. social change, and he is branded a gay basher.  Being a MILITANT anything
  40. is asking for trouble, whether it is homosexuality, abortion, civil rights,
  41. or any other social agenda...

  45. : connection or relevance, generalize again, and continue by ranting on

  57. Sigh.  More manure, this time you hope it sticks to Rush?  I'm not trying
  58. to get on your case about it - far from it.  However, I wonder why you
  59. think it is ok tactic for you, but not for Dornan...

  61. I do not agree with everything Dornan has said, but much of what he says
  62. is indeed on the mark.  He presented absolute concrete example after concrete
  63. example of the use of the media (TV shows) to chip away at social values
  64. that he feels are important... In my book, his social values should have
  65. EQUAL value as your social values...

  67. TO be specific, Dornan cited examples of bestiality, mutilation, defication,
  68. reference to genetals, child abuse, etc., that he saw in just a couple of
  69. hours of prime-time tv.  The man does NOT propose ANY legislative governmental
  70. intervention to stop this kind of constant assault on the viewing public,
  71. but instead asks these (in his own words) "obviously and wonderfully talented
  72. entertainers" to tone down a bit.

  74. Instead of using Dornan's examples, I will give you a few of my own observations
  75. which should even appeal to the most liberal Liberal...  Consider the TV shows
  76. Cheers, Night Court, and Taxi.  All were #1 rated TV shows, and all are
  77. extradorinarily written and entertaining.  The actors are of the highest
  78. caliber and extremely talented, to say the least - and often are active in
  79. various liberal social agendas.  Sam Malone sleeps with hundreds of women,
  80. depicted as bimbos (an afront to women, IMO) and sexually harasses the major
  81. women characters.  What can you say about the character of Dan Fielding and
  82. the women he "dates".  Louie DePalma is depicted as a lovable little guy, but
  83. he also happens to sexually harass Elaine Nardo in almost every show - and
  84. she is a single parent working two jobs to get by...  Are these actors and
  85. writers of the shows incapable of finding other things to stress?  I think
  86. so.  Married with Children depicts parents who not only abuse eachother but
  87. their children.  I do not deny the great humor in the shows or the talent
  88. involved in making them up...  Whoopi Goldberg in "Sister Act" is a non-stop
  89. blasphemer - like religion or not, is this NOT an afront to any minority or
  90. majority of people who are religious?  I can't count the number of TV shows
  91. and movies that depict those who serve our nation (gays and otherwise) in
  92. the armed forces as idiots.

  94. To you liberal hypocrites, his cause is wrong, I guess.  Being such hypocrites
  95. doesn't help YOUR credability much, either.

  103. Do the VERY liberal and politically active Whoopi Goldberg and Ted Danson
  104. represent your "so-called liberal" views?  They destroy any semblence of
  105. your credability if you say "yes."  How can anyone take Anita Hill's claims
  106. of sexual harassment seriously, for example, if saying "There is a pubic
  107. hair in my coke can" is a serious crime while doing and saying a LOT worse
  108. and glorifying it night after night on TV is ok...  In spite of Sam Malone's
  109. obvious frequent and promiscuous sexual activity, I do not remember a single
  110. suggestion that the use of a condom (at least) is a good idea...

  124. If you want to see Dornan in honest debate, turn on C-SPAN.  If you want to
  125. see Limbaugh, watch Pozner and Donahue, Donahue, various CNN shows, etc.
  126. Or listen to his show, where he takes on Liberal callers and most often
  127. gives them much more air time and demands honest intellectual debate from them
  128. than he does for his "dittoheads."  It is SOOOO unfortunate that Limbaugh
  129. even appearing on a show like Donahue, sandwiched between shows about lesbians
  130. who like to beat eachother with chains lends such credability to the show.
  131. That kind of crap on TV is an afront to every honest hardworking gay person
  132. who does not deserve to be represented by such charicatures of your beloved
  133. extreme left.
