  23. I don't know about others, but I haven't answered simply because the
  24. usual "defense" is "oh, he was just _joking_! lighten up!"  No matter how
  25. offensive a statement Rush makes, he can always back out by saying "it was
  26. a joke, gosh you've got a poor sense of humor."  So unless Rush signs a
  27. statement that he thinks women are inferior to men, no one here is going to
  28. accept anything as "proof."  Having said that... %)

  30. Recall the time on the tv show when Rush had a "messenger" woman who was
  31. dressed in ultra-short shorts, tight outfit, etc., who delivered the poor,
  32. shaking, terrified dog to the set (his name was Jeb, I think)?  Do you
  33. recall Rush's comments when he called to the "messenger" to come back?  He
  34. said she looked back, and then kept on going (off the set).  Rush then made
  35. a comment to the effect of (I don't archive this stuff, look it up) how
  36. women were like cats, giving you "go to hell" looks when you call for them,
  37. unlike dogs, which are nice and loyal and loving.  This is _not_ the exact 
  38. wording, but (some of) you get the idea.  Taken in isolation, you could try
  39. to claim it was a joke (really funny, hoo boy), but consider that Rush is
  40. constantly making feeble "jokes" about wives not letting their husbands
  41. watch football, etc.  Rush's attitude toward women seems to be stuck at 
  42. the "girls, yuck, I'd rather hang out with the guys" stage.  I expect this
  43. attitude to change as soon as Rush can convince a woman to have sex with 
  44. him.
