  23.     This is admittedly the first time I've ever heard anyone make that 
  24. claim as well, but I've seen a couple of cases in which hordes of people 
  25. have posted "requests" for other dissenting persons to butt out and leave 
  26. a group until they have "learned" more appropriate opinions. Consider the 
  27. case of Steve Chaney or Jack Schmidling. Basically these two guys have 
  28. gotten unpopular enough that they can no longer hold fruitful discussions 
  29. here because people are so busy berating them for past transgressions or 
  30. trying to put words in their mouthes in order to create new offenses. Both 
  31. of these individuals have been effectively "kicked out".
