- I wouldn't worry too much about that. The Mounties have survived Duddley
- Do-Right, The Lumberjack Song, Hollywood N.W.M.P. movies (by the movie called
- the "N.W.M.P." came very close to what I learned in history. The actor that
- played Louis Riel was a dead ringer for the original (no pun intended)), and
- our beloved Prime Minister. Also The Pas, Stilgardt and Mount Cashew. :-)
-
- Anyways, does this mean the CBC will put Ren & Stimpy on it's black list too?
- :-)
-
- ObExplain: The Rocky & Bullwinkle show was black-balled by the Canadian
- Broadcasting Corporation (and def facto by all other Canadian broadcasters)
- because they felt Duddley Do-Right would make the Mounties look bad. It took
- almost 20 years before a Canadian national network would carry it (or was that
- 25 years?).
