  12. This is a question for all you godless scientists out there:

  14. Bearing in mind the following, which has been established before or will be
  15. established in Men At Arms (first draft finished, hurray!): trolls are
  16. silicon-based and their brains remsemble computers rather more than our
  17. brains do -- THEN
  18. What is the troll equivalent of a drug?
  19. What is the troll equivalent of alcohol?
  20.  
  21. I think maybe we'd be looking for some kind of chemical impurity found in
  22. silicon -- what causes a batch of silicon to be discarded?  We need something
  23. that theoretically disorientates/mildly poisons in small quantities and kills
  24. in larger amounts?  (And it needs to be a substance -- not just heat, which
  25. I'm already using in the book)  It would be NICE if its something
  26. commonplace, like the sour milk 'drug' in Alien Nation.
