  22. This doesn't wash for two reasons:
  23. 1) Greens are female. The colonists have seen green firelizard lay eggs. If
  24. they assumed that Impressions were to be same-sex, they'd have offered female
  25. Candidates for the greens.
  26. 2) If you'll remember, the gold riders were *very* peeved that they couldn't
  27. ride flaming dragons. I *don't* think they were the type to deny their sisters,
  28. daughters, cousins, etc the chance, just because they didn't get it.
