  25. Well, you also said that ring-tailed lemurs weren't lemurs at all.  Thus
  26. my response.  Ring-tailed lemurs, native to Madagascar, are not likely to
  27. be "competing" with raccoons since there are no raccoons on the island. 
  28. My father encountered two adolescent raccoons on his front porch the other
  29. day.  They nodded to him and scurried off into the bushes.  I like
  30. raccoons.  Would have been nice if I could have been there.  Be even nicer
  31. if some ring-tailed lemurs came by to visit.
