- Well, you also said that ring-tailed lemurs weren't lemurs at all. Thus
- my response. Ring-tailed lemurs, native to Madagascar, are not likely to
- be "competing" with raccoons since there are no raccoons on the island.
- My father encountered two adolescent raccoons on his front porch the other
- day. They nodded to him and scurried off into the bushes. I like
- raccoons. Would have been nice if I could have been there. Be even nicer
- if some ring-tailed lemurs came by to visit.
