- For those visiting LA (Los Angeles, not Lower Alabama), the best chili-cheeseburgers
- are at a dive called Tommy's. There are several scattered around town, but the
- original at Beverly and Rampart is definately worth the trip. Best time to hit the
- place is after a long night of bar-hopping, around 2:00 in the morning. It's smack
- in the middle of one of LA's less affluent areas, but don't mind the gangs hanging out
- there - it's pretty much neutral territory, last time I was there. (Admittedly,
- that was almost ten years ago - ah, college daze!)
