  10. Of course no one is expected to take the James Bond books or movies
  11. seriously, but there is an expectation of realism in the way things
  12. work in the world.

  14. Take for instance in "Licence To Kill," when Sanchez swings a mach-
  15. ete at Bond while they're fighting beside a truck. Sanchez misses
  16. Bond and cuts the brake line, causing the brakes to fail and the
  17. truck to roll down the mountainside out of control.

  19. Well, when a brake line is cut in an air braking system, the brakes
  20. lock, they don't release. The truck should have been going nowhere
  21. after the line was cut.

  23. Aside from this blunder in "Licence to Kill," can anyone else come
  24. up with other scenes in either the books or movies where things
  25. were outright impossible?
