  18. As far as Howard goes, he's only been on the air here in 
  19. Chicago a couple of months or so, and I am not too impressed.
  20. Somethimes his morning show can be funny, but much of it just
  21. seems boring and pointless.

  25. I don't know how he was in the early years. Maybe he once was
  26. a funny guy, but what I've heard over the last few months has
  27. not been very good.

  31. 1) Howard telling us how he is so much better than all the other
  32. DJs and how they all suck.

  34.    (if this is true, then why does he need to keep reminding us?)

  36. 2) Howard bitching about the FCC.

  38.    (he makes some sence here, but this is getting stale)

  40. 3) Howard bitching at and about his staff and how they can't do
  41. anything right.

  43. 4) Howard bitching about the quality of the telephones and 
  44. transmitting equipment.
  45.  
  46. 5) Howard telling us how great his "Butt Bongo Fiesta" tape is.
  47.  (while those of us who've seen it know how bad it really is)

  49. 6) Occasional moments of comedy and humor.

  52. And that's about it. I don't know about everyone else, but when
  53. I wake up in the morning, the last thing I care to do is listen to
  54. a guy who sounds like he is on the rag 90% of the time."

  56. To tell you the truth, his repetition concerning his tape does get annoying, 
  57. but I find everything else Howard does to be very funny.  I guess you just have 
  58. to give him a chance.  Like others have said in this group, there are things 
  59. that people find offensive, but those same things will not bother others.  He 
  60. wakes me up in the morning.  If I'm in a bad mood, he usually cheers me up.

  62. At least stay around for awhile to check out his Best Of shows.
