  18. My parents lived in the UK for a few years and brought be back their copy 
  19. of the Belgariad to replace copies that my slime friends borrowed and never 
  20. returned. All the covers are _totally_ different.

  22. The US PoP had young Belgarion and (old) Pol with some guy on a horse (Ash- 
  23. arak?) in the distance. There's a map of Sendria for a background.

  25. The UK PoP version is a picture of a mountain range with a valley/lake in 
  26. the middle and Garion, Belgarath and Pol standing on a mountain in the fore- 
  27. ground.

  29. Maybe whoever publishes the book (US:Ballantine; UK:Corgi) gets to pick the 
  30. artwork.

  32. We should all pitch in $25 and buy Mr. Eddings a PC so he can get on the 'Net 
  33. and start answering some of the questions that come through here..
