  28. At least three other references spring to my mind :
  29.     1) At the beginning of "Queen of Sorcery", there is another reference to
  30.        Erastide, which in this case occurs 'between the narration of the
  31.        two novels'.  I may be mistaken, but I seem to remember Barak gives
  32.        Garion a sword at this one.
  33.     2) Doesn't the crowning of Belgarion itself occur on Erastide?
  34.     3) In "Guardians of the West', Garion gives Errand Horse on Erastide.
  35. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some other references around somewhere.
  36. I'm not quite sure what time of the year Erastide is supposed to be, but I seem
  37. to remember snow in Riva at the time of Belgarion's arrival.  However, this
  38. doesn't mean much, since Riva is a pretty cold place.
