  39. here's my two cents on the matter. At the time of Durnik's ressurection Aldur
  40. asked Polgara about the necessity of being on Equal terms with her husband to
  41. be. To allow the marriage to occur, Durnik's WILL power was unlocked. ( either
  42. by his death or by the Gods.) This put D&P on eqaul terms, both in life span
  43. and in power. In the case of Belgarion and Ce'nedra, Thing were pretty much
  44. already equal ( or would be soon ). Ce'nedra, being a Dryad, would live a
  45. pretty long time as it is. I'd imagine that her tree could be continually
  46. renewed by Garion as he chooses, and al long as her tree is alive, so is
  47. she, barring any phyical attacks. As for power, if you count political
  48. power as a form of power, she ranks right up there with Belgarion. ( Even
  49. before her marriage..) Not too mention the amulate that was given to her
  50. by Belgarion / Belgareth / and Polgara. That has a good amount of mystical
  51. power ascribed unto it. We've just seen ( or read about) the listening and
  52. speaking powers it has. I'd imagine that a mental scream ( especially from
  53. Ce'nedra ) would really HURT when it goes careening aroung your head a few
  54. times..:):)
