- I think Pat had it right, Spiro did both "natering nabobs" and "an effete
- corps of impudent snobs" a corps to which I subsequently and I might add,
- consequently aspired. At least he had sufficient grace to never have said
- "I am not a crook.", although, fortunately, actions speak louder than words.
- The vice-presidency is absolutely scary - Tricky Dick, Bumbles Ford, who
- WAS Ike's vp, anyway?
