  18. It's late, and I can't tell from the very very long list of mail headers
  19. if the response to Shub was yours.  If not, I apologize.

  21. I think Shub raises an important issue that is often overlooked because
  22. we are all being too "kind" and sensitive and "liberal" about handicaps.
  23. We sometimes may overcompensate in trying to be "fair" and as a result
  24. become "unfair" (to all).
  25.  
  26. The aim is to simply facilitate equal access, and equal opportunities.
  27. We can, as you imply, look at what we may be doing that makes it difficult
  28.  or even impossible for disabled persons to have that equal access.  In the
  29. process of fixing the problem we may often find ourselves created a more
  30. accessible environment for everyone (disabled and not).
