- An example from recent experience: I'm in a building where I'm every
- day (the university), and since that's boring, I want to get to
- another place, so I think of it, take the next elevator, press "3 up"
- and hope that I'll come out right... this is by far not that easy as
- it sounds, and works not everytime to my satisfaction, but I'm
- trying...
-
- Basically, I try to transform the scenario into the desired one by
- 're-defining' - I think, without explicitly stating, "this has to be
- that-and-that". E.g. I'm on a train, not knowing where, and if I want
- to visity Munich I think "the next station is Munich", and when I get
- out, it *is* Munich. This is far from reliable, however. Depends on
- the level of control.
-
- Sometimes I try this even with persons. I.e. I want to meet A [insert
- desired name], and the next person I meet, regardless of who (s)he
- really is, *is* A. (I'm not sure if this is understandable, but try it.)

-
- This is perhaps the biggest problem with LD... a motivational thing
- (Mike has explained this more beautiful). If you worry that you could
- get booted, you WILL get booted - the inevitable looping interaction.
- It requires a bit of training to overcome, maybe the 'spinning'
- technique (cf FAQ) could help.
-

- Then try it again, and try hard!

- Happy New Year,
