- There's another animal that screeches a carrier tone besides a PC. It's
- a FAX machine.

- That might be it; an old number now hooked up to a FAX line, which many
- companies have, and I'd bet many companies have 800 faxes for their
- branches, subsidiaries, franchises, etc......

- Try going to your local copier (by copier I mean people who make photocopies,
- etc. in bulk) or printer... a lot of them have FAX services, but it's expensive
- (sometimes $2 per page).... but if you really want to get a hold of them,
- you could try FAXing them a letter from the local copier...
