- Somewhere in Cyberspace, coan@griffin.emba.uvm.edu.uvm.edu said about
- 'Mondo makes me wretch':
- |That's funny, when I think of "cyberpunk culture" in a social/political
- |sense, I generally think of: semi-legal, subversive, cutting-edge,anarchistic
- |etc. etc.
- |
- |And then I look at THE 'cyberpunk' journal "Mondo 2000" and I want to
- |puke. What a waste of resources. All that cool equipment they use..all
- |that potential...and they waste it on shit-fashion, lame commercial
- |musicians, and no political content whatsoever.
- |
- |Barf.

-
- So, umm, where's your journal? And if you don't have the equipment
- that they do, where's your text e-zine? In your letters to the
- editors at Mondo, what specific suggestions have you offered to them?
-
- |ps- are there any decent cpunk 'zines out there???
-
- Mondo is more-than decent, IMHO. There are many alternative zines and
- e-zines, just look around. Mondo itself has, at times, been kind
- enough to offer alternatives, something you don't see Newsweek doing.
